Ron and I like to ride our Harley, play corn hole and pickle ball, and love to try out new restaurants.Our love for animals is at the core of everything we do at City Pet Hospital. I enjoy singing in our church choir, reading, yardwork, and trying new recipes. Ron and I have 2 dogs, Socks and Smiley and our cat, named Baxter. ![]() My stepdaughter and stepson live in Texas with their spouses and my husband, Ron Tapley, and I have 3 grandkids there and one on the way. I have a wonderful daughter, Caitlin, who is a graduate from NCSU and is a landscape architect living in Raleigh with her husband. I lost my first husband to a long, courageous battle with cancer. A significant number of our clients have been with us since and even before I started here in 1987.Įducation of our clients and our staff is of the highest priority for me. One of the most fulfilling parts of my job is the long standing relationships with many of our clients and patients. I have special interests in dentistry and endocrine diseases. I have practiced at Lincolnton Animal Hospital since then. in Zoology and in 1987 from the College of Veterinary Medicine with a DVM. I graduated from North Carolina State University in 1983 with a B.S. My name is Karen Miller and I am a veterinarian in the small town of Lincolnton, NC about 25 miles west of Charlotte.
